I'm looking for a basic gas cap for my 2008. I notice that the cap from my 1993 is too big and won't fit.

Do you think that cap will fit my 2008??? I desperately need one... nothing fancy.

This cap fits the pre 2003 tw and xt350 tank. I read somewhere on my search that a Honda generator gas cap will fit the newer then 2002 tanks. I will try to find the posting and post back here

Turns out the thread I was referring to was one you started back In Dec 15'. Placerlode had replied that Honda power washer gas caps fit. Did you try that route?

To keep my original cap from rusting I just smear a little Vaseline on it, the whole metal part inside the tank. Also smear a little Vaseline on the seal if it is to hard to turn the cap.
