    Project Black Widow

I wound up buying two TWs yesterday, 88 and 92 model years. The Black Widow has 1500 miles on it but has been poorly taken care of. The 92 is in pieces in the back of my truck.

I spent about an hour checking out the 88 today. So far the starter has been removed, both front turn siginal lights stay on solid, the gas tank is a little rough inside and the pit cock is shot. I need a break lever, gas cap, tires and a title. If I can't get a title I may just part it out.
I haven't started it yet but the seller says its runs great.

The only thing I wish were different on my bike, is the color scheme.
I really have no problem with the whole "Rainbow" thing, but I really wanted a Black Widow.

If you are going to part it, I may consider the frame and the plastics.

Black widow has always been my favorite!! But, alas...I had to settle for the fastest year, not the most beautiful.

No problem Mike. We all make the occasional mistake

No question about which model year is fastest. '87 every time. Now, we need to see a Black Widow paint job on an '87.

Maybe you will decide to make this Black Widow into a TW/TTR225 fire breathing, hill climbing, KTM eating dragon.
