Rhodetrip, Those are some really good looking photo's. Weather wise, I have always heard Mt. Washington can be a bugger. With shot's like those, I hope you will be a regular contributor of photo's from the "right coast".
I picked up this 1990 TW200 last wednesday. It's missing the speedo and neutral/turn signal/highbeam cluster. I'll be getting a trailtech vapor unit at some point but currently have a bicycle computer for a speedo. It also had a really crappy paint job so I sprayed it with rustoleum truck bed liner. I didn't have enough for the headlight shroud and front fender so I'll spray those this weekend. I also have a can of blue vinyl dye on the way for the seat since teal is not a good color. I'm just hoping it doesn't rub off from sitting on it.
This is also my first street legal bike, so far it's been really fun to ride around. I haven't taken it on any trails yet though, I might this weekend if the weather isn't crappy.
yeah, I'm impressed with it so far. I've only got about 50mi on the bike so far, 5 of that on the new paint. I might get it finished in the next couple of days.
Just picked up a '99 in trade from my brother. $600 & a new helmet. Going to use it to haul chain saw, pulaski, and fire rack for trail work. Need a rack now.
He loves to ride in the back of the UTV when I'm out on the trails geting wood, rocks, or just having a beer
Much easier to sip and drive on the UTV, but not as much fun on the tight trails! He's too big (and chicken) for the back of the TW, but he does love to follow!
A few weeks ago I got pulled over by the police, I stopped behind his patrol car.
The officer jumped out and ran over to me, “ Is it a 350 or 600” he asked me.
No 200, and I had to explain that the fuel tank was from a XT350 and still had the XT logo on it.
He wants to buy a XT350 and decided to ask me about it. We talked a bit about motorcycles and he went on his way again. Not without making his excuses about pulling me over and wasting my time.
The next day I decided that it was time to do something with the cosmetics of the bike.
Spray painted the tank white and with a small brush added the TW logo in black and red paint.
My 2000 TW that I just picked up yesterday with 98 miles on it.
