This 2016 TW200 was sitting at the local dealership.
Now it's mine.
If it wasn't for the fact it was there and this forum I would not have bought it.
As soon as I drove off the lot I started to grin.
At 58 I don't need much more excitement.
And I don't expect to be passing anyone.. nor do I care.
First new bike in 25 years.
There are plenty of places around my neck of the woods that I haven't explored yet.
It's perfect.
The Vino I have been riding around town for the past 7 years. 9500 km's on it.
I figure 10 years later my grandson can have the TW.
Great forum.
hah I saw JohhnyQue and first thing I thought was Johnny Quest cartoon from way long time ago...with his dad Dr Quest and 'Ace' Bannon. If that cartoon was still around they could have them ride Tdubs in the jungles
Welcome and remember your grandson now has a written contract for a slightly used 10 yr old TW. I love how many of these forum posts involve getting young riders their first taste of riding.
Welcome from Utah. Just picked up a 2017 today. only put around 15 miles on it, but so far I'm loving it, and can't wait until tomorrow to ride it again.
The Shinko 241 is the current favorite for most of us in the West. Good in rocky terrain, hard pack, gravel......just about anything except real soft loam or mud.....a more aggressive tread like the Kenda 270 may be slightly better in that stuff. I had a Kenda 270 for 5,000 miles and I like the 241 better all around.
Well, Been a member before I got the bike. Got it yesterday, and now I want to show it off. I call her the TARDIS.
