I also bought these inexpense cast footpegs on Amazon.com. You don't notice the offset being missing on the right peg. Despite being cast, they should hold up. If you break one of these off with your foot, it will have been the least of your problems. I haven't tried these on my BMW R1150GS Adventure... might want to!
Nice replacement for the small pegs, thanks for bringing this product up.
After looking at the depth of the hole that would be needed for the spring on the right peg I just bent the spring end.
I have only heard of one member breaking his inexpensive Krator foot pegs, they do seem to hold up well. I suppose I could have bought three pairs rather than one set of DMO foot pegs and likely still have two spare sets sitting on the shelf. Bent mounting tabs on the left side seem to be the more frequently reported problem. 2016-09-22 08.05.53.jpg
I have found that a 5 ft Johnson bar inserted vertically between the frame down-tube and the foot peg assembly can bend the frame's bracket back into shape. I have had to re-bend mine with this technique at least half a dozen times or so after impacts with trailside rocks after riding in tight terrain. Same for the need for re-bending for the stock shifter. Fortunately my foot seems to usually re-bend back on it's own.

So I installed two sets today. On my dry fit I noticed they did not swing up the full rotation due to the added height so I modified mine by grinding a different profile. One other thing I did to make it go back together easier was to chamber the end of the pin a little bit. The stock peg on our 2014's has a curved cover over the spring which helps hold the spring in the correct location and keeps some dirt out. Here are some pics showing my moded stock pegs, the unprofiled new peg and then the profiled new peg. Also I show how they rotate before and after.

Nice. I might test fit them on my XT350 and if they fit I'll order a set.
I just ordered a set of these pegs. My buddy just put a set on his Super Sherpa and when he showed them to me I looked at mine and started laughing.
