Thanks a lot for reminding me (that's what I should be doing this weekend)!

Here's my version of the XL swingarm. Quarter inch plate cut on a plasma table. It's a little chunkier than necessary and adds about four inches of extension

nice strong design! my design will actually tie into the existing axle slot basically extending it to allow for everything from stock to a 2 extension I think this design will be strong and simple and save having to jig up for the extension

Here's my first stab at a precision fabricated steel solution. Welds, nuts, and bolts not shown. Machined aluminum would be sexy but it can get expensive very quickly. I'm going to the explore the fabricated realm first. Might 3D print this concept and see how it looks/fits.

Looks great to me. I especially like the clever way you handled the nub for the snail adjuster!

My uncalibrated eyeball measures this concept to be about a 3" stretch, with the possibility of maybe making it a little shorter. Is that about right?

I am glad to see some activity on this concept and am looking forward to seeing your idea for the brake side.

    Thanks,

    Brian

Good eye! It provides a 2.75" extension.

The 3D printed part turned out decent. It's "draft" quality, intend for speed not beauty. It took about 2 hours.

The print taught me a few things but overall I'm pleased with the concept.

    Very nice!

Looks to be plenty strong and rigid enough to prevent any movement once it is bolted on.
