    trail tech mounts

Im getting ready to do this front end swap and bunch of other work. I'm planning to ditch all the factory dash stuff altogether. Ive been looking for a clean mounting system for the trail tech stuff. Ive seen a few folks do this, but its a bit hard to see their brackets. I can fab with steel, but this seems like more of a sheet metal job. Any how if any one has a clean install with the tt voyager, I'd love some pics.

I love the idea of using the hi tech stuff like this, and am anxious to hear or read how it works out for you.

I've been using the trail tech voyager for 10k miles and it's been great. I don't even look at the factory stuff. It's just time to get rid of the extra stuff

I do not have pictures of how I fabricated my Trail Tech but it actually was quite simple. I used aluminum stock to fabricate along with steel from the steering head which I fabricated.... You can see how I mounted it....Pretty straight forward.

You can always fab your dashboard using kydex or some other plastic.
    See my post here: http://tw200forum.com/forum/technica...ogress-10.html
Of course, I also tucked my trailtec dash behind a different shield, so your mileage may vary. But I've got plenty of pictures in the post to give you an idea.

    .
I just made a simple bent sheet metal bracket and used the two bolt locations the stock one mounts to on the top fork bracket. Sorry, I couldn't find a picture of it by itself.

update on my mount. I started over again and used the same design but changed the angle and height slightly. I also added some wing type things to mount all my indicator lights. I bought the proper plugs as well so they will plug directly into the factory harness.
