ISO: Full LED Turn signal set up for 2003 TW200

Like the title says, I am looking for a full LED turn signal/running lights for a 2003 TW200. I bought some cheap ones thinking it would be plug and play, the guy said that is all I needed... Long story short, they aren't plug and play. I'd really like some low profile ones.

The front turn signals are 3 wire and the rear are of course 2 wire. I also need a LED indicator for the dash and a LED flasher relay. Looking for the whole shebang!

Does it have to be plug in? I'm guessing if you already bought some, you don't want cut wires.

why don't you be our leader and put a package together, i'm sure they would be very popular. i've done leds on the rear, turn signals and brake and tail lights, but that is as far as i wanted to go. that way i can still use the regular flasher and turn indicator bulb

I am looking to have them plug and play. I already clipped these and put the right connectors on them. Oddly enough, all 4 of them work without needing a new relay..

I don't know about all of that. I have enough stuff to do as it is. I was hoping someone around here had already done it!

Definitely interested in that setup. Did you make the mount for that license plate holder or....? I went ahead and bought this:

However, I can use the LED lights on the sides as running lights and throw some turn signal hand guards (if they're not out of sight on price).

I did order some $10 tail light, but I think I like yours more. So... definitely interested in that as well.

Hopefully, Tommy actually reads this when he likes it and moves it into a different sub-forum because this isn't really going to be a classified anymore.

Alright so the front signals on my handguards are just LED strips I got here and mounted myself. I just capped the running light wire for the front signals, but you could probably run that along with a separate ground to those aux lights on your headlight fairing assembly. My tailight/turn signal unit I got here it has held up surprisingly well. I fabbed a mount with a piece of flat bar aluminum and two corner brackets, nothin to it.

The full LED conversion requires a few more mods to get everything working properly. You'll need to 1) swap the stock mechanical flasher unit for an electronic one and 2) wire in a diode between the turn signal indicator bulb on the dash and the positive leads running to each of the two front signals. This is to account for the drastically decreased resistance the turn signal circuit now has due to the LED's. I got my electronic flasher from NAPA (couldn't find it online), but any 2 prong, electronic flasher relay will do. I believe they make ones that have the same pigtail plug the stock flasher uses, so you can just plug n play, like this one. The diode I got here and the install is pretty straightforward, just wire in the diode between the indicator bulb and the two positive wires running from the bulb to each turn signal, then ground to ground.

Also of note, in my experience this setup only works with an incandescent indicator bulb, I tried an LED and got no flash, just constant illumination. Again, must have something to do with resistance and backfeed through the circuit, but I'm not exactly sure. Anyway, that's about it. Let me know how it works out and if you have any other questions.

Weirdly, I currently have 4 cheap working led turn signals on the bike right now. They All work. Now granted, currently the running lights are capped off, but still... I didn't need to do anything for them to work. The wires coming out of them had too small of a male connector to match the stock ones, but I clipped them off and put new ones on. Presto, chango, they all work. However, the light in the dash doesn't blink anymore. With the old flashers I couldn't tell if they were stuck on or not during the day so the dash was required, but with these I can actually just see if they're still blinking. If I didn't plan to change all of it, I wouldn't care if the dash stayed on. So if I do something where I can still see that the flashers are stuck on. I don't care about the dash light.

The only thing that I fear is that if I do hook up a separate running light that it will change the system, I don't know though. I hate wiring. It's one of the very few mods that I really, really loathe doing.

On the tail light mount: I wasn't sure if you fabbed it or found a cheap one that worked. I don't mind making one, but there is always a time/cost that I think about. If it's something I can make, but it's cheaper than materials and my time, I will buy it. If it's too pricey, I'll make it. $65 + shipping, over at procycle for their tail light/bracket combo is too pricey for me not to just buy a cheap tail light and make the bracket.
