Howdy, I dont know if anyone cares or is interested but in preperation for an upcoming trip to the sand dunes (where flags are mandated) I made me some brackets for the TDub, just went to Home depot and got a flat piece of aluminium and some small "eye" bolts and made these very simple but incredibly functional brackets, the bracket on the axle is really doing the work, but the bracket on the turn signal keeps the flag from hitting the signal and away from the plastic as well as not hitting me in the back when I come to a stop, I notched out the front of the lower bracket to slide into the "keeper" tab that sets the chain tention....worked out really well...heres some pics, i did remove and "pretty" the tabs up but this give you an idea if anyone is interested in making thier own

well....the flags are supposed to be tall enough to hit a bar that they have at the gate to the entrance of the park (Little Sahara state park, Waynoka Oklahoma) but its not strictly enforced, its more important to "have" a flag than how tall it is exactly, I know they wont let you ride without one, but "I" have never heard of them being too strict, with that being said I made sure to use the longest flag we had for the Tw, the banshees/other fourwheelers flags are nearly the same hieght even though they mount higher on the bike (grab bar) taller would be even better but this will do i reckon lol

I LOVE IT! Motorcycles are not required to have flags where I ride, but everything else is. A flag is a great idea even if its not required. The eye bolt coming off the blinker is nice and hope it limits the sway of the flag so it doesn't hit you!
