I am in Iowa also, where do you buy your gas? I never use ethanol in my small engines, some pumps in Iowa are not marked. In Missouri we had a boat at the lake and I would bring gas down from Iowa. Premium gas from a place that sold a lot, like BP. All gas in Missouri has Ethanol, pumps are not marked in most cases. My guess that is the issue.

Ethanol is grain alcohol and it attracts or absorbs water very easily . That mixture will corrode jets, and I have seen the damage its done to floats, needle valves and float bowls. Its fine for a couple of weeks then things go bad. They make a StaBil for that stuff but I would think Sea foam would help. Don't know because I don't use ethanol.

Well my new jets don't have 10 miles on them. And I haven't used anything but premium since I've owned it. I'll try cleaning carb again and installing a kit.

Are you sure your tank is clean? Coild be something getting in the gas, I would just pull the float bowl off and see what is in there. If there is, drain your tank from the bottom. all even the reserve, and put in a couple clear glass jars, and see what settles out or if has any water in it. Gas that will run in a car or truck might be bad for a motor cycle if it has crud in it. Bad gas is more common than you think.
