Handlebars - how high can you go?

Just settling in to my new TW125 and am finding the bars a bit low, how much height is OK without changing the cables?

    Thanks

Not sure how much exactly, but Pro-Taper high rise ATV bars fit.

2" before longer clutch and throttle cables needed in my case. I ended up going 4" total to get it comfy while standing

If controls are still a bit tight one can usually create more play by trimming bars for length. The Pro-Tapers should still have index marks every 1/4 inch. Cutting a half inch off each side makes you that much narrower in those tight woods anyways.
Don't forget some quality grips. I like a pillow top.Pro Taper Pillow Large Flange ATV Grip

I have the pro taper ATV high bars, cut at the first line, shown with 30mm risers. That fit with no new cables but I had to re-route the cables, electrical wires and front brake line. Nothing difficult but it wasn't just r&r.
