For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Now were talking. Since Joemama started this dream ride idea we should ask him for possible dates and/or destinations that suite him.
For example if timing and desires limit this to a one day affair then some place within easy striking distance for NorCal Nutjobs is needed, like the coast range. Most of the ideas I threw out are a bit of a drive and logically require over-nighting somewhere. Anyone have a good solution or propossal?
I wonder whose job it was to spot this fire and call it in?
But Tony, have you been to Hell Hole Reservoir? I sunk a sailboat at the far end there once.
OK. Early September, Friday night camp, ride Saturday, fire lookout, Mendo/Lake area. Anything else? Temps should be anywhere from 60 to 90 and dusty. Sounds like a blast. We will find water for the splash brothers. I'll start working on it.
OK. Pick your favorite tower.

So Joe, do we rent one for the weekend?

Like many back-country folks remote fire look-out personnel often enjoy a bit of fresh company. I've been extended a few invites to the top of towers leading to pleasant extended chats.

On the Cow Mountain Roundup ride, the group placed a memorial for Russ, that Gerry made, at the Pine Mountain lookout. Would be good to once again pay homage.
