    Talkeetna mountains winter ride.

Here find a few pics from my last Winter ride I to the talkeetna mountains. On a Honda fatcat.
love the look of a wheel track in the snow.looking down into the valley
at the highpoint of the trail.
enlarged kickstand pad. It's better to use plywood for this.
this trail is entirely riding on packed snomachine trails.

For winter riding the cat is superior to the tw in that the low seat height and auto clutch are really beneficial. Also it feels like riding a Honda three wheeler when I was a kid. This is an amazing bike and perfect for a kid or a female rider as the center of gravity is so low and it's somewhat lighter as well.

What's your opinion Fatcat vs BW200/350?

It depends on the rider. If you want a real sporty and powerful ride and are willing to maintain an older bike the 350 is your best bet. The 200 has nothing to say for itself. You can add ATV tires to your tw and have the same performance while still being g Street legal and have a newer bike. The fatcat is best if your riding casually and like having parts available. I like having a choice of the fatcat and the tw. The 350 is a great ride only after you've put a tri z front end on it and swapping out the rear shock. All great bikes though.

Indeed the chain is a bit rusted on the surface due to lack of use but it's oring. And thus still functional.
