Wish I had never sold my 00' GS

This new to me is Mandarin (Monkey Piss Yellow)

I'll need to re-paint as I'm not too much of a fan of yellow/orange tone on a GS. Maybe satin silver, or satin RAF blue or something. Not sure yet. If I didn't know how to paint, and didn't have the gear to paint, I'd leave it alone. Maybe I'll just leave it alone. Maybe not. I'll sleep on it a dozen times and see.
I will be deleting the GIVI TopBox/BackrestW/Brakelight for sure. Delete the pretty BMW side cases for Zega. After all it's a Two wheeled HumVee not a Coupe DeVille!lol8.gif

Congrats !! I put a bunch of miles on a bought new MPY 01-GS. I put a couple washers under the seat front mount. It will leave a gap between the seat and tank but much more comfy.

This is a rewrite of a previous post....

Hope you grow to like the yellow.

I am interested in your take off parts. My 1100 is in need of bags and a top box.

Wow, that thing looks very clean! 20K miles is very low and it shows.

    Good riding!

I might be off on the years, but EFI, and oil cooled.
I saw this the other day and even though I'm not in the market it caught my eye because, I love yellow bikes and I love the tank detail on this one.... it's a 2002 BMW R1150R .... not sure why it appeals to me so much but I really like the look of it.

I like that bike too. It's unique. Almost took a look at it.
IMHO, it's a 3300-3500 bike, but what do I know

Does it help keep "the boys" from getting crushed?
