Mud, Badger Holes- Another Day in the Back 40

    Friday.

Finally, quit raining so I could get a short ride in after work. Plenty of mud to keep you from daydreaming.

Sunday we went for a short ride. 62F. degree's.

Big Bend School. This is an area on the east side of the Snake River but is in Oregon. Normally, the river is the border between Idaho & Oregon.

Mrs. Admiral took a photo and I've taken one before too but this one is grabbed off the www.

Further along, on the way home we rode past this Jersey Cow painted pony horsey. I thought it was unique anyway! By the looks of it, the pony horsey could use a pedicure.

I am soooo jealous right now! Nice day riding. Thank you for taking the time to share with those of us who's bikes are collecting dust.

It's more fun when it ain't so muddy but I shouldn't complain. First ride out here this year since the snow melt. Lots of mommy cows with their baby cows so you have to tread lightly in some areas.

Oh, and it's the beginning of the "Battle for Whistle Pig Hill". Bullets are flying everywhere so it's best to stay away from here for a while as the Whistle Pig slayers are out and about. Gets worse the next 2 months, then the Whistle Pigs head back underground for the rest of the year...battle over. One should ride with a flak vest and kevlar helmet if they venture in the area right now.
