I saw you quoted $210 on ADV -- is there a price break for pre-ordering? If there is, I'll probably go ahead and jump on that...

4 gallons? YES!!! Dang, this is gonna be a long 6-8 weeks. lol
Is it really only going to be a little over $200? That sounds almost to good to be true. I thought it was going to be well over that.

I can't wait to see it...
I made a steel tank and the Clarke one is going to make my tank building a waste of time... And i might even swap to the plastic tank sometime.

As an indicator for what their 4.0gal will do for you. After 285km and 13.5L I hit reserve on the 4.0gal XT350 tank for the first time. This whole tank was just highway (returning from end of offroading) and very close to full throttle most of the time, consumption of 4.6L/100km. Same riding style and speed with stock tank I hit reserve at 90-95km.
In lay terms, that's one trip to fuel station for every 3 of the stock tank if you're running the TW at full throttle top speed all day/week/year. Stock rear sprocket is 45tooth here, and no elevation, at sea level, essentially flat (though windy) open highway and freeway.
Here's a couple pics of what the fuel level looks like in the tank after hitting reserve with stock petcock. left side: http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b7/tillis/TW/mods/08032010331.jpg right side: http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b7/tillis/TW/mods/08032010332.jpg
The fuel level doesn't stick to a pocket on either side, so standing the bike up off side stand again, both equalise. I wouldn't bargain on a big 2nd reserve by tipping it to the left and running on again for long.

converted to miles and gallons for the metric impaired.
