I have heard from several people about a TW350 in Europe. Is this an urban legend as I have not been able to find anything on it. I was hoping to increase the size of the engine on my TW but at the recommendation of the Yamaha dealer got a KLR650 for my dual sport bike. The TW will be the off-road putting around the hills bike along with the FatCat.

Hi MtGoat,

One of the owners of my dealership says he has a photo of a prototype TW350 he said he was testing. He said it was the ideal incarnation for the TW. I guess that was a few years ago and don't hold your breath about ever seeing one in the USA. Not unless we have a 'Million TW March' on Washington or Yamaha USA or something.....  Sad [:(]

What did you do to deal with the lack of an offset countershaft? Use a jackshaft?

the 350 dose fit....and it has a kickstarter, we added the push button, we ditched that POS jack shaft and turned a shaft on the lathe, you do need to add like was .300 of an inch to get it work, buddy still has it he's in WA state, I'll try to get a hold of him for dimentions...
