QWERTY thx! I pm'ed you ![Smile [:)]](http://tw200forum.com/emoticons/emotion-1.gif)
Jakelee...I'm getting the shirts made with that the design (TW Trail Way) first...what size do you wear? Color will be white.
MSG Hall. that is a real nice one! hopefully I can come up with more funny, silly or geeky designs next time (I'll post it)...thx for sharing it, but can't copy that one ![Big Smile [:D]](http://tw200forum.com/emoticons/emotion-2.gif)
[edit] Ronnydog. I'm gonna get the Trail Way design made for the first (12 pc) order. But if you want that design I can possibly get it screen printed too, but the screen printing company that does single order hasn't called me back yet. I'll let you know...
Cheers...![Beer [B]](http://tw200forum.com/emoticons/emotion-22.gif)

I don't understand the animosity toward Cafepress.com. I've been selling shirts from there for several years now, and I have one I bought about three years ago and wear (and thus wash) about twice a month, and while it does look worn I don't think it's at all bad.
I personally wouldn't sell ANY shirts if I had to handle them personally. Too much trouble.

I'd really love to see #6 in my closet with a more retro color scheme. Like the old thumper ads and merch from the 70's.

Cafepress.com not bad at all. But I know some people prefer screen printed t-shirt that's why I get my products made by screen printing company. At least we have choices now...digital printing for one t-shirt or screen printing for more t-shirts (lower cost). But screen printing companies mostly have minimum order (i.e. 12 pc for one design or 24, and some even min. order 36 t-shirts). I've been shopping around locally and on line. And I know only a few does single screen printing t-shirt and the cost is not that cheap. What I know screen printed t-shirt's design will last "forever"...but one more time digital printing is not bad at all...cheers ![Wink [;)]](http://tw200forum.com/emoticons/emotion-5.gif)
assquatch...thx for the feedback. I'll see if I can come up with more designs, but for now I limit my designs with only one or two colors only. I can do more colors but it'll cost more..we'll see. At this time I can't stock "too much" t-shirts ![Sad [:(]](http://tw200forum.com/emoticons/emotion-6.gif)
This is my little project to show how proud I am as a TW rider... Go T-dub! Go little thumper! Go TW!!! Trail Way rules!!!
*I'll post pic of the finished products next week (Wed or Thursday) and I'll give some more details... cheers...![Beer [B]](http://tw200forum.com/emoticons/emotion-22.gif)

I made a couple of high-vis shirts for BV since he rides in the Florida heat. Maybe he'll post a pic. Compare to a cafepress shirt and the difference is obvious.
The Beefy-T is a really nice shirt. Very soft, gets softer every wash, pre-shrunk, and a heavy fabric for a t-shirt so it lasts a good long time. It also holds water well for evaporative cooling on those scorching desert rides.

Huh. Interesting. Cafepress offers a variety of shirts, from a "value" line (pretty cheap, but I've bought a couple and they really aren't bad) up to higher-end shirts made by American Apparel. I can't say if they are as good as the "Beefy T" but they are pretty darn nice.
If you haven't done business with Cafepress in a while, perhaps you aren't aware of all the items they've added or upgraded.
They don't have a really "Hi Vis" shirt, though the yellow T is pretty bright.

Okay, I'll reply to my reply. American Apparel shirts like the ones Cafepress sells are about a 4.5 oz fabric, compared to something like 6.1 oz for the Hanes Beefy T. This means the better Cafepress shirts are about equal to the mid-range Hanes shirts.
Oops. Just noticed, the "Organic" shirts are 5.5 oz, so not that far behind the Beefy T. They are also "ringspun" which the fabric people tell me is a "good thing" (what do I know, I just program computers and ride dirt bikes, only one of which actually pays).
Still, I wouldn't deal in T-shirts at all if I had to stock the darn things. Considering I tend to tear them up before they wear out naturally, I don't think I'm hurting myself any.

American Apparel is an employee-owned California-based company. A group of former sweatshop workers said "screw slavery" and started their own company. Back then even the catalog models were the same young people, most of color, many who were here illegally, who wove, dyed, and sewed the garments. Like true Americans with ambition, they taught themselves every aspect of the business. It's a 1st class operation run by true entrepreneurs selling some of the sexiest casual clothes on the planet. Virtually all their products are made in Los Angeles, one of the last mills left in the USA. They also incorporate environmental sensitivity into their operations.
I used to buy a lot of stuff from them--they have some quite sexy informal wear that was popular with the high school and college cheerleaders I printed for in Texas. The girls liked the styles because they were good quality and would last, thin but strong fabric, and exposed lots of skin so they were cool for workouts in the Texas heat. What I saw in the gyms was very skimpy, less coverage than most bikinis, but provided strong support. Being thin and supportive, the American Apparel styles left absolutely NOTHING to the imagination. I never saw any girl leave the gym without donning some form of cover-up, at least cheer shorts (Soffe) and a tank top. Ahhhh, fond memories. ;-) Anywho, American apparel is a fine company that makles a fine product that sells to a different market segment than Hanes. Most American Apparel styles lean toward the fashion preferences of young attractive females.
Fabric weight is not always an indicator of quality. All else being equal, it is an indicator of warmth and strength. That is all. A very light weight polyester t-shirt is preferred by some people in both hot and cold climates because polyester tends to wick perspiration away nfrom the skin to the surface of the garment, where it evaporates. This can have a drying effect in winter and a cooling effect in summer.

Ah. That explains why the less shape-oriented shirts Cafepress sells are not American Apparel... evidently they don't make shirts for fat old guys like me.
Not a problem... I've been happy with the cheap shirts I've gotten from them.
