You're welcome AND Thank you Tom!
Once again, I really appreciate your receptiveness to input, it proves your company strives for Service :) and values the customers' voice.
I understand the difficultly with the extension of that protection, with regard to interference with the rider's boots. I really like the design of the skid plate and additional side (bars) protection, I also like the little screens to allow additional air flow to the side, while also keeping it protected.
Thanks again Tom,
Adam

Wanted to let you know what is happening with the product.
We have the proto types done and the first run of the head light guards should be back from the powder coaters soon. I have recieved a large order from Parts Unlimited for some of our other product, so the tooling for the skid plate and the first production run have been pushed back a couple of weeks.
Here are some pictures of the proto type parts. Let me know what you think.

Oh that's just great. I'll never hear the end of this now that The Purple Monstrosity is a star.
(not shown is the optional time-release petcock, guaranteed to slowly dribble fuel on your prototype shop floor for 2 weeks. Sorry, Tom. You''l be glad to know that I fixed it before allowing it to leak in MY shop)
Looking forward to installing the production versions.

Just got my set in the mail from Tom. This plate feels literally bulletproof! I'll be taking photos of the process and a general review as soon as I get them on. Tom says if mine go on without a hitch, general production can begin.
