valve adjustment on a TW200; unscrew 2 bolts and remove rear rocker arm cover. Make sure engine is at TDC on the right stroke and adjust valve. Reassemble. Front; remove 3 bolts, remove cover rocker arm cover and adjust valve. Reassemble.

valve adjustment on a Vstar 650; Shut off gas and run carburetors dry; disconnect speedo cable by wheel; unscrew instrument cluster; disconnect 2 wire terminals; disconnect speedo cable at cluster; remove cluster; remove seat; disconnect fuel line; remove fuel tank; remove rear coil; remove 2 vacuum hoses; remove air box; remove air duct; disconnect 2 electrical connections that plug into the bikes harness; remove carburetors; remove heat shield; remove horn; remove chrome plastic thingies on top of each cylinder head held on with 4 bolts each;  Now you can see the rocker arm covers that are bolted to the cylinder head with two bolts each. At TDC on the proper stroke and adjust valves. Reverse proceedure to assemble... Oh yeah, forgot the beer required.

Weird, I thought that was my garage. The only difference is my Vstar is the 1100. Do you know if the valve job is the same on the 1100 as the 650?
