Oh no, not another one. Damn thieves. I hope whoever took it gets caught riding it! Where was it stolen from, home, work, etc...?

Slightly off-topic : Sheesh, and my co-workers think I'm nuts for having a pager alarm and multiple locks. This is why! To by enough time to catch any would-be thieves!

Dean, I had my 2007 Muley #1 stolen as well this year... When the police recovered it she was raped, and Geico "totaled" her. I now have another 2007 (Muley #2) and I now keep her behind a locked gate, with a cable lock, and I have a Gorilla alarm.

I'm truly, truly sorry for your loss. I hope they catch the bastard(s).

There's quite a few on the market. Scorpio makes some nice ones, but they're pricey($300+). I got a Gorilla 7017. Most places sell it for $200, but I found it on Ebay for $150 shipped(new in the box, not used)! The range isn't the greatest, but it's good enough for me. I'll try to get a review posted this weekend.

sorry for your loss i know how it feels and it is almost like loosing a pet or something dear.

i thought about it, and thought about it and decided on the following, my tdub is in storage since i got paranoid after my zuma got lifted  so i am going to drill my name on every part of the bike parts that are visible and take it apart again and drill my name on the parts that are not.

by the time i get through with the thing my name is going to be all over it.

handlebars, meter, cdi, under seat, muffler, frame, motor (crankcase and covers)whatever........

if you ever read my handle on a part, you can bet is mine.

if you buy the part that means that the thief who stole it from somebody else will also steal it from you.

Glad to hear that.  I had a XT250 stolen years ago.  i noticed an all white one a couple of weeks later and took the cops to it.  The thief had neglected to cover the stock maroon paint inside the oil cover...Busted.

The dealer I bought mine from uses "Data Dots" on every bike & ATV they sell. It's a small jar of microdots suspended in a clear epoxy. They put smears of this stuff on all the major parts of the bike in odd places. The serial number on the dots is available to law enforcement in a database.

Along with the Data Dots warning stickers, I have an NRA member sticker on mine...  I want to get a Gorilla. Maybe when I get called back to work.

She's a little butchered. Missing the handguards. Jimbo's shield has sadly disappeared. Runs like a champ. Missing mirror and a few other things.
I'll be putting her up for sale fairly soon.
pics will happen as well.

That's awesome! A few less thieves on the streets now. I'm surprised that it was so intact! Is it weird seeing your TW after all this time?

No, not so weird. I had gone through the grieving stages and purchased a 02 Triumph Sprint RS to take it's place. Part of me wants to take the TW into the woods and run it like a champ for a last hurrah. The other part wants it gone so I can use the cash to put some money on the Triumph.
