I found this nitrous kit for a TW200 on ebay.   I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it.  IIRC,  when the nitrous button is hit a shot of gasoline is also needed and I don't see that ability in this kit.   Tony

Many thoughts popped into my head when I saw this.

Someone had too much time on their hands and decided to machine something. Why else would one build a Nitrous Kit for a 200cc thumper engine?

While I have a lot of faith in the TW engine, most of that faith is based on it being virtually unchallenged by the demands of the bike. I think putting a Nitrous kit on the happy little engine is like giving crack to a kid, nothing good will come out of it.

Also, do you really want to risk blowing up something that you are sitting rather directly over?

Might be something fun for some people. But for me I am quite happy with the TW engine as is.

Getting lost is half the point of a TW, getting back is the other.

You might be better off if the nitrous was fed up under your faceshield where it is less likely to ruin the engine.

phelonius is right. I think the person who designed something like this for the TW probably was doing just that.

These kits pop up from time to time. My advice? Don't even think about it.

hahahahaha!

Fed into the face, LOVE IT! Yes, Tony this would be a wonderful way to ruin poor TW's life and all for the shot of what an extra horsepower or two???

Our lean running little hampster wouldn't appreciate this sudden HOT shot of death one bit.

Hey Adam!    How about hitting the button and pulling the front wheel off the ground?  Would that be cool?      Yeah,  in my dreams.  I am not serious about it.  I just happened to see the ad on ebay and wanted to share it.  T.

Hey Tony!

hehe, that would be pretty awesome. Rip a stand-up wheelie at 55 mph in 4th gear w/ TW!! It would be great. I didn't think you were serious about it ;)

I came across this kit, as well, a couple of weeks ago.

But if it goes up under your faceshield, you will think you are going faster without excessive wear to the engine.
You will also seem to be a much better rider.
You may not even have to start the engine!
