02-05-2010, 5:26 PM tampabrian Joined on 02-24-2009 tampa florida Posts 23 97 no spark got a 97 project tw200. no spark at all, put in new battery and turns over with no spark. coil is no power and new stator is putting out very little power, it will barely light my test light. also, not, bike is locked in gear and won't come out in neutral or anyother gear. bike only turns over when clutch is pulled in help    Report

02-05-2010, 6:35 PM Broken Veteran Joined on 09-12-2009 Sebring, Florida Posts 227 Re: 97 no spark Oh my goodness. Neutral switch, kick stand switch, clutch switch, off/run switch, ground,etc... If I had an afternoon with it I could test everything. No spark is irritating. sit on the bike and rock forward and backwards while trying to select neutral. I had to bypass the kick stand switch. I start mine with the stand down and put on gloves, helmet, and goggles while it warms up. The starter pulls all the output for a test light. If you take the spark plug out and push the bike down the road in gear. Then test light should work better. If you were local I would help. Too poor to travel. I am 112 miles from Tampa.    Report
