A Question For Our Brothers Down Under
It's my understanding that your gearing on a stock TW in the land of OZ is 14/45.
In the States its 14/50.
I ride mostly street and would just like to see some reviews or comparrisons between the
two before I purchase new sprockets and chains.

Re: A Question For Our Brothers Down Under
Hi Aussie Wed here! You are correct in saying the Aussie Standard TW has 14/45 gearing. Which means it has longer legs. As far as performance in rough country I find that it handles it OK. It won't climb trees but will handle what I regard as a bloody steep climb. In my riding gear I weight about 80 klg or 175 lbs. I carry a small amount of spare fuel, liquid refreshment, food, all my camera gear & extras on my bike = f/r racks, oil cooler, aluminium bark busters, I can't give you a top speed as I have no reason to find it out. On highway I travel at 80/90 klm =55mph. I run the highest grade of fuel & you can really feel the power band come in when you twist the throttle control.I hope this is of help to you, if you have any more questions please submitt themm sEEYA!wES!

Re: A Question For Our Brothers Down Under
I have no drama's. Running stock specs and can ride in deep sand. Mine has the effect of even taller gearing with the Terracross on it.
I'm in top gear on mine from 45-50kmph (about 30mph) on the street.
Happy to field any questions regarding it.
