What type of oil?

What type of oil should I use?

I live in a hot, humid climate and the temp never goes below 78 F. The Filipino mechanics told me 5 W30 but that seems like it would be too thin?

on the back side of your side cover  that covers your tool kit you'll see  what oil is needed for your bike. The fuel rating is on it also.

Much too thin - Per your Owner's Manual you need a minimum of 10w40, and should consider 20w50 (recommended in the newest Owner's Manuals 2009+) for the temps you have down there.

Mobile 1 0w-40 or 10w-40 synthetic CAR oil.

No need to worry about friction modifiers causing clutch problems in the tw.

I took ir heat gun temperature readings with rotella vs. mobil 1 and I'll keep using the mobil 1.

Now I have to figure out what to do with all this rotella I have.
