The fridge had me laughing.. but the kayak got me thinking.. As an avid kayaker, and owner of two of them.. I WANT THAT!! Can you show a close up of where/how the side car is mounted to the bike?
I first made a loop subframe for the bike that is bolted at the footpegs, (both sides) and at the forward lower engine mount, (both sides),
It extends to the rear a bit and has a verticle hanger from another spot on the frame. The spot where the upper rear is connected has a gusset welded to connect both sides of the frame. The upper front mount has a threaded socket welded to the reinforced area of the upper front down tube.
The steering damper is fastened by my own design universal at the sidecar frame and to my own design of bracket at the front fork.
I will see what i have for photos. Got to go now, photos later
Okay after a bit of work for my landlord I loaded some photos to bike pics.

This first one shows the right rear of the subframe and the verticle support that goes down to the sub frame.
Note the 5/8ths inch Heim joint coupling and lock nut.

This one shows the lower front mounts and the brake linkage between the bike brake and the sidecar brake.
Again the 5/8ths heim joint and lock nut.

Another view of the front showing the subframe attachments and the adjustable slide of the sidecar mount.

The upper forward mount welded to the frame of the bike. Again the heim joint.

The sidecar end of the steering damper. Adapted from a VW beetle steering damper.

The forward end of the steering damper showing the machined clamp for the fork.
